Brigitte Bere

Brigitte Bere was born in Germany and has lived in Canada since 1976. Over the past 4 decades she has explored many expressions of art making. Once she was well known for her exquisitely handcrafted marionettes. Those characters came from her vivid imagination, rich with fairy folklore and mystical adventure. Now, Brigitte has moved on and works in a variety of media such as Watercolour, Acrylic and Fluid Acrylic, Pastel, Print Making, Wax Resist, Needle Felting, Encaustic, Collage and Sculpture with a passion for colour and drama. She always looks for the unusual in her subject matter.
