Artist Statement:

As an only child I started to draw and it developed into something that I truly enjoyed all the way into adulthood.  Painting on wood has been something new for me and expanding into canvas work.  Painting scenes and lots of trees is a new stretch for me since I started out drawing people.  From 2000 to 2003, I entered my coloured drawings in the competitions at the Buckhorn Fine Art Festival and won awards for my work ranging from Best of Show and 1st prizes.  I am very grateful for being allowed to do something that I truly love to do.
