Artist statement

 

This body of work was inspired by our Great Canadian outdoors. Using vibrant acrylics, I aim to represent the emotion and nostalgia that a backwoods lake or pine tree can evoke. I paint in hopes that my work can create a space of calm refuge for the viewer.
